Direttamente dai vigneti di proprietà, viene propo-
sta una selezione di vini doc,
Pigato
,
Vermenti-
no
e
Rossese
.
Carbon
Trust Standard
, dimostrandosi quindi attenta a

Sommariva,
love and respect
for the land
For many it’s a job, for us it is taking
care of all we have and our products
know that. This is our philosophy that
has been accompanying our job made
of passion and commitment to convert
the wonderful fruits of our ground into
delicious recipes, for more than 100
years. The job of the great-grandfa-
ther Domenico, the grandfather Gio-
batta and the grandmother Mumina,
which has been continued by Domen-
ico (called Nino) and Bugi, is carried
out today by Agostino, Anna, Alice
and Gb, with Mina’s lessons in their
hearts.
Sommariva’s farm with all its staff,
continues its route along the ways of
quality, like a big family with an eye
on the past and the other on the fu-
ture. Cru Muela extra virgin olive oil
mosto cold produced, olives in salt-
ed water, organic pesto genovese,
creams, preserves in extra virgin olive
oil and many other specialties of the
old Ligurian kitchen are produced us-
ing non-industrial methods with raw
materials coming in most part from
the family farm.
The absence of chemical additives
and preservatives secures the virtues
and safety of the products. Directly
from their vineyards it is proposed a
selection of Doc wines such as Piga-
to, Vermentino, Rossese.
100 years of history taught us that
without being respectful towards our
ground there can’t be any future. For
this reason Sommariva’s family has
always been careful to the respect of
the environment and in 1972 it has
been one of the first Italian farm to
ask and obtain the organic certifica-
tion. From that moment Sommariva’s
farm has been growing his land on
Albenga’s plain and on the hills of Val
Lerrone with certified organic farming
techniques for more than 40 years.
Today Sommariva is also one of the
first Italian companies to get Carbon
Trust Standard certification. This
shows the commitment to reduce car-
bon and greenhouse gas emissions in
the atmosphere thanks also to the
choice of green partners. Sommariva
produces healthy and correct but also
gluten free products to be close to all
his clients and their needs.
